Passionate About Empowering Others
My name is Lee Braddock and I am a certified personal and professional life coach, mentor, author, and lecturer. I am a former state and federal law enforcement officer and former therapist. I help people with personal and professional relationship issues. My areas of expertise include self-development, self-empowerment, marriage, relationships, anger management, social issues, spirituality and faith, professional relationships, and organizational effectiveness.

MY CLIENTS
Who do I work with? Anyone who wants help and is willing to do what’s necessary to change. I require commitment from my clients. I understand that change can be hard, but it’s not impossible! My most successful clients have thrived because they made a personal commitment to the process. They picked up the concepts I taught them and ran with them. Check out my clients’ testimonials to find out more.
I respect your reality and I work with you from where you are currently situated. Together, we work towards change. Through your commitment, you’ll learn to free yourself from your past, conquer your self-defeating thoughts, and put yourself on-track towards a brighter future.
The most difficult thing to do in one's life is to change your attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs. I understand it’s hard, but it’ll be worth it.
MY VIEWPOINT
The fact is, we all have choices in life: your choice of how to live your life, what career to pursue, and even who to marry. No matter how helpless and worthless one may feel, one still has a choice. To remain in a negative or painful lifestyle is extremely destructive. You DO NOT have to remain there. You don’t know what you don’t know until you learn. Learning these skills helps you gain self-empowerment, which enables you to make the changes you desire. Which do you choose: do you choose to stay status quo or to improve your life? To live the life you’ve always wanted or to remain stuck? “It’s your choice!”
MY OBJECTIVES
-
I seek to understand and respect what my clients think and feel. I need to understand you so that I can help you understand yourself, your needs, and where you want to be in life.
-
I make a personal commitment to each one of my clients. I’m here for you—not for myself. I tell my clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. I don’t shy away from getting to the core issues—this is the only way to fix problems: by understanding and addressing them head-on.
-
I work on your agenda—not mine. Why? So that you get the clarity you need to strengthen yourself.
-
I do not tell you what to do. I make suggestions and share my opinions with you, but the final decision is in your power and your power only. I am here to guide you—not to control you. This way, you are empowered to make the right decisions.
-
I assist clients in digging deeper. Sometimes this is a painful process, but it is impossible to repair any issue that you don't acknowledge or understand. I will help you get to the core of your issues so that you can effectively address them.
The bottom-line: I am here for you and I will help you make the desired changes in your life. Keep in mind that this is a lifestyle—these aren’t merely tools that you use from time to time.
MY TECHNIQUES
I draw from my background as a therapist and I use cognitive-behavioral techniques to understand my clients' viewpoints and perceptions.
-
I actively listen and ask open-ended questions to gain clarity, helping you understand the underlying complexities of the issues.
-
I share real-life examples. I share my personal experiences to demonstrate how to apply the concepts we talk about.
-
I occasionally insert humor to lighten the mood. Laughter is the best medicine, as they say.
-
I assign homework—personal assignments to reinforce concepts and to help you practice what you’ve learned. These are more for your benefit than they are mine.
